Beginning in October 2005, OCC began a Self Study Process in preparation for the college's sixth comprehensive accreditation visit by the Higher Learning Commission of the North Central Association in March, 2008. The OCC board of trustees, chancellor's cabinet and over 250 OCC faculty and staff participated in the process.
