CAD.MTO
Machine Tool Option
This program option provides students to
use the computer as a tool in engineering, analysis, design, machine tool,
robotics industrial technology and manufacturing systems.
Students will apply knowledge of systems,
software configuration and design principles in solving increasingly complex
design problems involving metals, plastics and composites.
Reverse engineering and rapid prototyping further
enhance the learning experience of students in this program.
The Tool and Die Design option includes the
principles and concepts of tool, fixture and die design.
Upon completion of this program, graduates will be
prepared for employment in engineering and manufacturing design industries,
or may transfer to a four-year institution. Please see an OCC
