MEDICAL TRANSCRIPTION
Associate in Applied Science (MET.AAS)
This program leads to an Associate in Applied Science Degree. The program provides the career training necessary to transcribe physician's dictated reports for medical records used in courts, insurance companies, hospitals, governmental agencies and other medical related businesses. The importance of medical records continues to grow rapidly due to increased demand for clinical data necessary for research on diseases, the use of new drugs and other methods of treatment.
