Certificate of Achievement
The following options may be used to enhance the Construction Management Associate Degree or Concrete Construction Management Certificate
Program. Those students may opt to concentrate in certain areas of the construction management dependent on career goals. The certificates
are not required for the Associates Degree in Construction Management, but are recommended to increase career options. These certificates
are also available to construction industry personnel or those interested in enhancing their current career options without obtaining a degree.
For those choosing this option, there is no requirement to obtain the Associate in Applied Science for Construction Management. To obtain
the certificate of achievement, the student must complete all the requirements as listed under each certificate description.
| CONSTRUCTION PROJECT MANAGEMENT (MGT.CPM.CA) | ||
| This option is intended for individuals that desire a career in construction project management or to enhance current career options related to project management. Course work will emphasize the management duties and management theories needed to properly organize and lead a construction project. Successful completion of this option will result in a Certificate of Achievement in Construction Project Management. The student may choose to continue and complete an Associate in Applied Science Degree in Construction Management or a Certificate in Concrete Construction Management. |

Successful completion of this option will result in a Certificate of Achievement as a Construction Contract Administrator. The student may choose to continue and complete an Associate in Applied Science Degree in Construction Management or a Certificate in Concrete Construction Management. |

| This option is intended for individuals that desire a career in concrete construction management. Course work will emphasize concrete technology. Upon completion of CCM 1500, CCM 2000 and CCM 2500, the student will be prepared to take the State of Michigan Concrete Testing Technician certification exam Levels I and II. Successful completion of this option will result in a Certificate of Achievement in Construction Marketing. The student may choose to continue and complete an Associate in Applied Science Degree in Construction Management or a Certificate in Concrete Construction Management. |
