program at Oakland Community College.
OCC is the only Community College in Southeastern Michigan to offer a coaching
certificate. Developed with the
MHSAA*, this program is ideal for employees, coaches and officials in
private and K-12 districts and club team systems – anyone who is driven to be a
better coach.
In just a few months, learn practical skills and theories that apply on and
off the field including:
- coaching philosophy and techniques
- communication skills
- legal issues
- coaching psychology
- sports medicine
