Construction Management Certificates of Achievement

The following Certificate of Achievement options may be used to enhance the Construction Management Associate Degree or Concrete Construction Management Certificate Program. Those students may opt to concentrate in certain areas in construction management dependent on career goals. The certificates are not required for the Associates Degree in Construction Management, but are recommended to increase career options. These certificates are also available to construction industry personnel or those interested in enhancing their current career options without obtaining a degree. For those choosing this option, there is no requirement to obtain the Associate in Applied Science for Construction Management. To obtain the certificate of achievement, the student must complete all the requirements as listed under each certificate description.

There are no admission requirements for this program other than standard OCC admission policies. Any current or potential student may take the core construction management courses with exception to prerequisite requirements. All Construction Management courses offered in any given semester will be listed in the OCC schedule of courses 

Construction management core course are currently offered at only the Orchard Ridge campus in Farmington Hills. However, students are encouraged to take their general education and business courses at any of the OCC campuses. 

Students are encouraged to see their OCC Counselor and the Program Coordinator, Melanie Myers at the Orchard Ridge Campus in Farmington Hills. These individuals will give the student guidance and options to enhance or further their experience at OCC.
