Student Group

In the Winter 2006 semester, an Associated General Contractor (AGC) Student Chapter was formed. The purpose of the group is for networking and working together as students to enhance their learning experience. Through guest speakers, job fairs, AGC events, job site tours and networking, the students will build relationships that will last well past their graduation from OCC and enter the workforce. Program Coordinator and NAWIC Lansing Chapter Member, Melanie Myers (right), presents the Carleen Hallman Scholarship to OCC  student, LaTina Johnson (left). Ms. Johnson received a $1,000.00 scholarship to use on tuition and books. The Lansing Chapter of NAWIC awards this scholarship annually to a student in a construction-related college program.
