Minimum Qualifications:
MASTER’S DEGREE, or higher in MATHEMATICS, MATHEMATICS EDUCATION(with a minimum of 18 graduate level credit hours in Mathematics), or equivalent.
Experience in teaching developmental as well as upper level math courses.
Experience with multi-cultural students and staff preferred.
Experience, Knowledge, and Skills:
Ability to teach and communicate mathematical concepts.Ability to teach developmental and remedial mathematics courses.
Knowledge of and demonstrated ability to assess learning outcomes.
Participation in recent professional training and development.
Knowledge of various pedagogical tools to enhance student learning.
Knowledge of study skills for learning mathematics and experience with implementation.
Skill and experience utilizing graphing calculators and other technology.
Ability to work as a team player in a multi-cultural diverse working environment.
