Minimum Qualifications:
MASTER'S DEGREE, or higher, or equivalent in MATHEMATICS.Experience, Knowledge, and Skills:
Experience in teaching developmental as well as upper level math courses (such as math forelementary school teachers, calculus 1-3).
Experience with multi-cultural students and staff preferred.
Ability to teach and communicate mathematical concepts.
Demonstrated success teaching developmental level classes.
Skill and expertise using graphing calculators and Course Management Systems.
Skill and familiarity with distance learning.
Knowledge of study skills for learning mathematics and experience with implementation.
Knowledge of and demonstrated ability to assess learning outcomes.
Demonstrated interest in curriculum development.
Participation in recent professional training and development.
Ability to work as a team player in a multi-cultural diverse working environment.
