Honi is joined by Dream: husband Jeff Deaton on guitar, Josh Brooks on banjo, Wayde Powell on resonator guitar and Albert Whiting on mandolin. As former music director and keyboard player for The Temptations, Al McKenzie enhanced the close soul harmonies and fancy footwork of one of Motown’s legends. In addition to touring with the group, he also collaborated with the Temptations on their Grammy award-winning album “Ear-Resistible” and their 59th CD entitled “Awesome”. Al has found the time to write and record two CD’s, “Is it love” and “A Reason To Be”, featuring a mixture of smooth instrumental and vocal jazz and sensual rhythm and blues.
