From EJS, OCC electronic journals are accessed in 1 of 3 ways:

American Art is another example of a journal accessed by linking to a journal’s website

Once at the journal’s website, some journals require username & password for access
  •  Journal of Dental Education is an example of a journal that requires username/password
  • Access Notes -  show the codes required by the journal in order to view articles

 The 2nd way of accessing journals is by
selecting volume/number options and then selecting  journal article from Table of Contents
  • User must select Volume and Number.

Individual journal articles must be selected from the  journal Table of Contents page

The  3rd way to access a journal is from a vendor supplied website. BioScience is accessed from the vendor, Ingenta

A Technical Note:  Always have Cookies Enabled on your computer
  • From Explorer Toolbar,
  • Select Internet Options
  • Select Privacy
  • Select Advanced Privacy Settings
  • Select the options listed on the screen


  • This will enable the journal to reuse your username and password while you are looking at the online journal
