"Expanded Academic ASAP":
Anatomy of a Citation

Okay, possibly when you look at a citation, you wonder, "Which is the title of the article, and which is the title of the periodical?  What about the stuff in parentheses?  How do I interpret those numbers and abbreviations?"   Behold the anatomy of a citation.

Article Title

Sometimes information is added in parentheses. In this example "Articles" is not part of the title but denotes the particular section of the magazine in which this article appears. This sort of information does not go in your bibliography.
