"Expanded Academic ASAP":
Interpreting a List of Citations

From the previous screen we selected the subdivision "analysis."  Below are the first six citations.  Remember the definition of "citation"?  Perhaps you should review that in the glossary.  Then use your browser's back button to return here.  Go to the Glossary now.  We'll wait.

If only the citation is available (i.e., no text), you can check the list of online periodicals to see if the article is in another database, or you can check the library catalog to see if an OCC library carries the print publication.
When working with a large number of hits (this search produced over 3000), you may want to create a smaller list of those that look the most promising and then review the articles. You can do that by marking those you want (click in the mark box next to the article title). Then when you're ready, the command "View Mark List" will create the list.
All of these hits are "citations," but the magic word is "text." Click on it and you will get the entire article right on your computer screen.
