| MLA Handbook |
The current
recommendations for citation of online sources are explained in detail in the 6th edition (2003) of MLA Handbook
for Writers of Research Papers (pp. 207-235) available in OCC
libraries. |

How These Examples Work |
Below are
representative examples of MLA-style citations of online sources, such as Infotrac,
commonly encountered by OCC students doing research for classes. Note that a common rule in the
Handbook is: "If you cannot find some of this information, cite what is
available." For more
examples and other types of publications, please consult the MLA Handbook,
6th edition. |
