Oakland Community College is located – literally – in the heart of the growing Life Sciences industry and is the only local community college to offer this training. The program has been carefully designed to give students the most advanced training in the cellular and molecular biology technique that can be applied directly in the field.

As a graduate of the OCC Molecular Biotechnology Program you can be qualified to work as a research technician in the biological, chemical, environmental, forensic or medical science areas.
