Welcome from Director Terry McCauley
The Oakland Community College Department of Public Safety is committed to providing the students, faculty, staff, and visitors with a safe and secure
environment. This goal is accomplished by highly trained, state-certified Police Officers providing a variety of services in a professional and competent
manner while building relationships with the community. We embrace a community policing style of law enforcement that focuses on crime prevention and
problem solving through an establishment of partnerships among the officers, students, staff, faculty, and campus visitors.
It is our hope that as you browse our web page, you will learn about the services we offer that support our community policing philosophy. Our web page is provided to increase the overall awareness of crime prevention information and services offered by our department to enhance campus safety. Community involvement is our most important crime prevention tool. Working together, we can keep Oakland Community College a safe place. We welcome your questions, suggestions and concerns.
