Registration Process

PAYMENT:  Students who register during the registration periods must pay for their class by the designated payment due date (exceptions apply for students waiting for financial aid or 2nd party payments). YOUR PLACE IN THE CLASS IS ONLY SECURED BY PAYMENT FOR THE CLASS.

DE-REGISTRATION: If a student does not pay by the designated date, the student may be "de-registered" (dropped from the class).  Students are responsible for dropping any unwanted classes to ensure billing does not occur.

Registration Schedule

THREE REGISTRATION PERIODS:  (1) Priority Registration, (2) General Registration, and (3) Final (Walk-In) Registration.

and a valid active program.

July 14 (Tuesday) Only students with 6 to 29 credit hours
and a valid active program.
2. GENERAL REGISTRATION:   NOTE: Web/Phone Payments due by 11:45 p.m.
July 15 through August 12 All students Wednesday, August 12
August 13 through August 26 All students Wednesday, August 26
August 27 through August 30 All students Monday, August 31
3. FINAL REGISTRATION*:    
August 31, September 1 and 2
(Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday)
All students At time of registration (De-registration is nightly.)
DROP/ADD PERIOD (Schedule Adjustment)   TIMES:
September 3 through September 10 Registered Students only 8:30 a.m. - 7 p.m. Monday-Thursday
8:30 a.m. - 5 p.m. Friday
(NOTE: Students have not paid will be de-registered on September 10)

*Note: If students wait until final registration, many classes may be filled.
^De-registration is the process of dropping students from the class roster for non-payment.

Registration Statements

Registration Statements will NOT be mailed after July 30.
Registration Statements may be obtained from Enrollment Services at any campus.
PLEASE NOTE:
Students are responsible for payment in full by payment deadline whether or not a registration statement has been received in the mail.

PLEASE NOTE: Registration statements are mailed on Tuesday and Thursday of each week except when indicated. Registration statements may also be obtained from the Enrollment Services department at any campus. For your convenience, credit card payments may be made via our Web or Touch*Tone services (see details). Students are responsible for payment in full by the payment deadline whether or not a registration statement has been received in the mail.

FINANCIAL AID RECIPIENTS: Dropping courses or completely withdrawing from the College may affect both your current financial aid award and your eligibility for future financial assistance. Course withdrawals made after the 100% refund period may decrease your award and cause you to owe money. Please contact the Financial Assistance and Scholarships Office BEFORE dropping courses to discuss your plans and the potential consequences.
