HOTEL MANAGEMENT
Associate in Applied Science (CUL.HMM.AAS)
This program, leading to an Associate in Applied Science Degree, is designed to develop skills and knowledge essential for employment in the hotel/motel industry, with skills in food preparation and service, food standards and sanitation, service industry purchasing, hotel/motel sales and promotion, front office management, housekeeping, maintenance and engineering and marketing and management.
The student acquires experience by performing these functions in the facilities on the college campus or in field assignments at local hotels and motels. The student may be employed in middle-management supervisory positions in many industries catering to the satisfaction of the traveler.
