Beginning Fencing (PHED-7016-F1517) - 10 Sessions Dates: 9/3/09 - 11/5/09 - 6:00pm - 7:25pm Be introduced to the art of foil fencing. Topics include: history, terms, vocabulary, proper warm-up, and basic foil techniques. Note: Student must purchase a fencing jacket and glove. Class open to ages 13 and up. |
Open Fencing (PHED-7036-F0720) Dates: 11/12/09 - 12/10/09 - 6:30pm - 7:55pm This course provides an opportunity for open fencing outside of our regularly scheduled fencing class. Students must provide their own equipment. Prerequisite: Beginning, Intermediate or Advanced Fencing or consent of instructor. |
| Intermediate Fencing (PHED-7031-F1518)
- 10 Sessions Dates: 9/3/09 - 11/5/09 - 7:30pm - 8:55pm Topics include proper warm-up, intermediate foil techniques, and introduction to epee and sabre fencing. Prerequisite: Beginning Fencing or consent of instructor. No Class on March 5, 2009 Advanced Fencing (PHED-7017-F1519) - 10 Sessions Dates: 9/3/09 - 11/5/09 - 7:30pm - 8:55pm This class will build upon the skills covered in Intermediate Fencing. Formal equipment and electric equipment (excluding electric weapons) will be available. Prerequisite: Intermediate Fencing or consent of instructor. |
