Basic Sewing

Learn the basic operations of using your sewing machine, such as threading, bobbin winding, and how to utilize specific stitches.  This class will cover measurements, pattern sizing, layouts and assembly. Classes are held every Saturday, unless otherwise notified.

Advanced Sewing
This class will cover how to line a garment and how to alter sleeves, vented or plain. You will also utilize pattern layouts, hand stitches, and proper measurements.

April 17, 2010 - May 22, 2010  / 12:30pm - 3:30pm

Intermediate Sewing
This class will cover pattern layout, hand stitches,  proper measurement for correct pattern size, how to insert a zipper into a garment and how to place a waistband on a pair of slacks. Classes are held every Saturday, unless otherwise notified.

Sewing and Alterations
Familiarize yourself with proper methods to alter most basic garments. Learn how to shorten sleeves, slacks and skirts/dresses.

 Class sizes are limited in most programs.  Register as soon as possible to ensure your seat!
