Training Information
Classes offered
by the Combined Regional Emergency Services Center provide public and private emergency responders as well as military personnel with the most current
and progressive training available. The Police, Fire and EMS divisions offer both basic and advanced training programs in state of the art lecture
facilities and execute practical drills in our real buildings located in simulated city.

the classes will be listed.

CREST offers a comprehensive catalog tri-annually of all classes offered through our Police, Fire and EMS training offices. Please look each class up
individually by visiting the Police, Fire and
EMS web pages. To enroll in any of the classes offered you can fill out and fax or mail a
registration form. If you would like to receive a copy of the CREST catalog in the mail, please

Oakland Police Academy
The Oakland Police Academy is recognized as the leading Police Training facility in Michigan, consistently graduating high achievers. In large part,
these outcomes are due to the exceptional quality of the instruction provided to the trainee by the Academy’s experienced training staff.

Oakland Fire Training Institute
The Oakland Fire Training Institute offers training for all levels of the Fire Service. From our Basic Fire Academies and Fire Fighter I & II programs,
to our Advanced Fire Officer, Hazardous Materials and Specialized Programs. We are able to offer the most progressive training in the State of Michigan
at one of the premier training facilities in the country. Please feel free to contact us to set up a training session that is tailored to your department's

Oakland EMS Academy
The Oakland EMS Academy is a leading training center for pre-hospital emergency care and is accredited at all levels of EMS training for the State of
Michigan. Graduates from the Basic, Intermediate or Paramedic courses will be eligible to take the National Registry examination for licensure in the
State of Michigan.
