Do not resize your browser once the test has begun. If you want to resize your browser (make it fullscreen), do that before you click the test link.

Do not use the Back, Forward, Home or Refresh buttons when taking a test.

If you're not in an OCC lab or computer classroom, make sure you’re on a machine with the fastest connection you can find.

If you are an AOL user, make sure you do not try to take a Blackboard test within the AOL browser. Instead, minimize the AOL browser and open a different browser like Internet Explorer or Firefox or Netscape instead..

If you are an AOL user, set your email to check itself every few minutes so you do not time out in the middle of your test.

If you lose your Internet connection while taking a test, contact your instructor immediately to report the problem
