Packet Method

The second and more common method that instructors use to structure a course is the 'Packet Method'. This orientation that you are currently viewing is structured as Packets.

Packets give the instructor a measure of control over the sequencing of course document delivery. Instead of requiring the student to access a document folder to choose a lecture, and then a quiz folder to choose a quiz, and then a discussion list to access a discussion, all of these things can be assembled into a Packet which orders the documents and activities into a logical flow that optimizes learning. If your course is structured as Packets, you can access your course materials by following these simple steps -

  • To access your Packets, click on the 'Course Materials' link in your left navigation bar.
