This Associate Degree option places special
emphasis on working with senior adults. Health
promotion is important for all ages and demographically
senior adults are one of our fastest growing population.
This option allows additional insights into
the limitations and/or capabilities of older people,
with special emphasis being placed on the needs
of this age group.
This program is designated as an Extended Degree
Program because the student must complete a minimum
of 73 or more credit hours.
Students interested in transferring to a bachelor's
program in Exercise Science or related field should
consult with an Oakland Community College counselor.
