There will be four tests and a comprehensive final exam.

on the final exam to keep their grade of A or B. Selected homework may be
handed in and graded. Additional worksheets will be assigned as well. Anything

MAKE-UP’S:
Test dates are listed on the course schedule. A missed test cannot be made-up.
The grade for only one missed test may be made-up by using
your final exam score again. In this case your final exam will be worth 300
points. Other missed tests will be given grade of zero. An exception can
be made if you know you will miss a test, and you tell me in advance and make arrangements to take the test in
advance. Again, I will accommodate you one time only.
ATTENDANCE:
Because I believe that attendance is essential for success
in class attendance will be taken and will count 50 points. You will receive 2
points each day you attend to a maximum of 50 points for the semester. To
receive all the points, you must be punctual and stay for the entire class.
ASSISTANCE:
Questions related to the homework will be answered, as
possible, at the beginning of each class session. Additional help is available
during my office hours, or in the Math Lab located in C231. Tutors are available
in the Math Lab. Check with the Math Lab for their hours.
