General Information

Oakland Community College (OCC) welcomes applications from international students wishing to attend OCC in F-1 status.  We offer a variety of services whether you are applying from overseas or from within the United States.

We currently have 800 F-1 students from more than 45 countries attending at our 5 campus sites in Oakland County, Michigan.

International Student Advisors (ISA’s) assist students to enter the U.S. in F-1 status, provide information on how to change status within the U.S., maintain F-1 status, apply for work authorization when allowed, assist students to transfer to other schools and help students with cultural issues.
