APA  Citation of Internet Resources:  OCC Examples

Note:  Consult your instructor for directions; he/she may have different requirements.
APA Handbook The current recommendations for citation of online sources are explained in the 5th edition (2001) of Publication Manual of the American Psychological Association available in OCC libraries. Rules paraphrased below have been taken from pages 268-281, Chapter 4, sub-heading Electronic Media, and are herewith cited by item number and page.
How These
Examples Work
Below are APA-style rules for online sources followed by examples of citations. The example sources used here are ProQuest and Infotrac, with other databases, for reason that they are among those more commonly encountered by OCC students doing research for classes.

Please note that the completed Reference List must be double-spaced, and entries should have a hanging indent (p216).
