The OCC Library Catalog identifies items located in the library and will point you to their location. Books, magazines, newspapers, journals, videos, DVDs, music CDs and audio-books are basic items the catalog indexes.

Although the titles of magazines, journals, and newspapers are indexed in the catalog the articles are not. You will need to use a research database to locate specific periodical articles.

You can also link directly to electronic resources that are indexed in the catalog (online government documents, electronic books, electronic journals and some internet resources).

Use the Catalog

• to find out what books, etc. the library owns on your topic
• to find where a specific item is located in the library
• to find and link directly to electronic resources subscribed to by the library
