WHY SHOULD I ATTEND?

• Learn about the Oakland Community College Interior Design program

• Learn about the career opportunities open to an Interior Designer

• Learn what skills a student must have to be come an Interior Designer

• Learn how an education in Interior Design will help you to advance in the industry

• Meet students currently in the Interior Design program

• Meet some of the Interior Design instructors

• Introduction to Interior Design

• Sketching and Drafting for Interiors

• Interior Design Materials

• Lighting and Color for Interiors

• Computer Aided Interior Design

• Design Internship

 

DID YOU KNOW?

• Did you know that using the color blue in a room can help slow one’s pulse or even help to decrease one’s appetite?

• Did you know that using special types of lamps can help positively affect those who suffer from Seasonal Affective Disorder (SAD) during the winter months when there is less natural daylight?

• Did you know that using lighter colors on the walls within a space can make it appear larger?
