Communication
What is forensics? The word means telling the
truth before a judge. In college, forensics is a competitive speech and
performance activity for students.
I have also taught intercultural classes,
listening classes, academic achievement and development classes, and
persuasion classes
Teaching Philosophy:
Being able to speak with confidence allows you
to change a person’s mind and it allows you to change your own attitude.
When you can do that, you can start to change the world. I believe that
next to having good health, your ability to communicate is the most
important element in having a happy and high quality life.

coached an award winning forensic team at EMU 1985 to 1990
(We were 1st or
2nd in the nation each year.)
*Taught on AH campus 1990 to
1995
*Currently teach on the OR
campus and I actively work with the forensic team – That is a competitive
speech and performance team.
Private Consulting & Other Presentations:
I have worked with business,
government agencies, schools and communities and presented numerous
workshops and classes. Some of them include the following topics:
working with diversity,
dealing with criticism, building a positive cooperative atmosphere, gaining
confidence, Etc.
