Educational/Biographical Information:
After ten years as an undergraduate, through a number of majors and at a
number of colleges, I received my BA in English/Creative Writing from
California State University, Long Beach, in 1981. In 1984, I received a
Master of Fine Arts degree in Creative Writing from the University of
Arizona. And in 1991, I received a PhD in Rhetoric, Composition, and the
Teaching of English, also from the University of Arizona. I taught for two
years at Barry University in Florida before coming to OCC in 1990.
Schedule for Winter 2008
I am on sabbatical leave for the
winter semester and will return for fall 2008.
