Dispatch Training
The
Oakland Police Academy provides dispatch classes that meet
and exceed current emergency services protocols in a variety of categories
ranging from emergency fire dispatching techniques to responding to
crimes in progress. The content covered in these classes are designed
to ensure that the communications professionals at your Public Safety
Answering Point are able to provide an exceptional level of service
to your agencies emergency responders and the citizens in your community.

The Oakland Police Academy is also pleased to offer the most comprehensive 911 Dispatch Academy in the State of Michigan. Our program introduces the necessary skills and knowledge to work in a modern public safety communications center by teaching each student the responsibilities required of today’s public safety communications professionals.
