Thank you for your interest in the Phi Theta Kappa International Honor Society for two-year colleges. This is the website for Alpha Omicron Kappa (AOK), a chapter of Phi Theta Kappa, located at the Highland Lakes campus of Oakland Community College in Waterford, Michigan. Here you will find information about current events within the society, the requirements for becoming a member of our chapter, and the benefits of joining. Attention PTK members:

There are quite a few opportunities to volunteer this semester. Stop by the Student Center Student Life Office (next to the Day Care Center) for more information.

Fall 2009 Orientation dates:
Tuesday, November 3, 2009, 6:00pm - 7:00pm in HL-Student Center 108

Induction Ceremony:
Friday, November 20, 7:00-8:30pm, in HL- Student Center Arena

Fall 2009 General Meeting:
Thursday, December 3, 2009 from 6:00pm-7:00pm in HL-Student Center Cafeteria (next to the arena)

We will be discussing Chapter Officer elections and getting ideas for events and fundraisers.

Important Chapter Information:
Monday, January 11, 2010: Intent to Run For Office forms due by 5:00pm. Drop forms off at the Student Life office in the Student Center.

Wednesday, January 20, 2010, 5:15pm-6:00pm, Student Center Cafeteria (next to the Arena). General Membership meeting.

Monday, January 25, 2010, 9:00am-5:30pm. Voting for Chapter Officers in the Student Life Office (Student Center building).
