Priority Registration

To assist those students nearing degree completion who need to secure admission to critical courses, Oakland Community College has instituted a "Priority Registration" system. The system will permit students to register on the first two days based on their active academic program and the number of credits they have earned.

* Sections may be added to your shopping cart after 1:00PM, however, you will need to return to Online Services on or after your registration eligibility date to complete the registration process.

Details:

  • An active student is one who is newly admitted or has taken a class during the prior 3 years
  • Active academic programs do not include:
    • Undecided
    • Non-Degree Seeking
    • College Guest
    • High School Dual Enrollment
    • High School Guest
