Forensics means "telling the truth in front of a judge." In communication areas, forensics meansr /> competitive speech and performance.

WHAT YOU MIGHT WANT TO KNOW:

The tournament season runs September-April.
We compete 2 - 3 times a semester in one and two day tournaments and festivals.
At each tournament, you’ll give your speech 2- 3 times to various coaches/judges.
This is a great way to network with other schools.
Anyone is invited to attend- few people tend to watch.
The school pays for registration and judging fees.
Periodically, scholarships are available. (Some fundraising events are scheduled.)
You can receive college SPE credits for competing.
