Virtuality and Actuality: Where Teaching, Learning and Technology Converge

This energetic and informative event featured Tim Tewalt, Director of Teaching and Learning Technology at Chippewa Valley Technical College in WI. Tim demonstrated how technologies can be used to effectively communicate with today’s community college students. Tim kept us entertained while providing resources and fun prizes throughout the day.

Respondus Tutorials

Check out the new tutorials for using Respondus under Bb Help Center. Respondus is an application to assist you in the creation and management of assessments. OCC now has a college-wide license for Response.

Exciting News for Faculty

You can now learn about Educator or Blackboard online. Sign up for Educator and/or Blackboard Basics workshops through PDTC and earn 3 SDUs. You will learn how to use some of the basic features and tools of  the Educator or Blackboard course management system while you experience first-hand an online course. Plus, you can contact anyone from the TLTCs for support in completing the courses.
