The Womencenter is a college program providing resources for students and area women. Our purpose is to help empower women through the development of educational and supportive programs and services for campus and community women that promote growth in both personal and political awareness. We help women identify their personal and social needs and assist them in developing the skills to meet them through education and participation. Our programs take the form of workshops, seminars, supportive groups, conferences, peer counseling, and information, resource, and referral services. For over thirty-five years, the Womencenter has offered substance and sustenance to the many women who have walked through our doors. We look forward to assisting you with your personal, career, educational, and resource needs and we welcome your referral of friends and family who can benefit from our services. Satellite Hours! The Womencenter is on the Royal Oak Campus the first Monday of each month from 2:00 - 6:00 PM, in the Career Center, the Highland Lakes Campus the second Monday of each month from 2:00 - 6:00 PM, in the ACCESS Office in the Student Center building, the Auburn Hills Campus the third Monday of each month, from 9:00 AM - 1:00 PM in the Student Life Office, and the Southfield Campus the fourth Monday of each month, from 1:00 - 5:00 PM, in the Career Center. MAGIC (Mentoring a Girl in Construction) Camp July 13-17 on the Orchard Ridge Campus. For girls ages 15-19. See the brochure for more information and to register. Limited space available.
