The D2L Assignment Grader app is running correctly with regards to synchronization of folders.

The D2L Assignment Grader app is currently experiencing difficulties synchronizing folders. Desire2Learn has been notified of this issue and is working toward a resolution.

D2L has indicated that the synchronization issues will be resolved in the next service pack.

Between 9 A.M. and 12:45 P.M., May 12, 2015, the email function within D2L had been disabled for unscheduled maintenance. Please note that all other areas within D2L were available for use. Instructors were still able to email students from the Online Services roster or Outlook.

Issues regarding students not receiving emails sent by the instructor through D2L appear to have started on 3/8 and continued through 3/16 at 10 am. Students may have not been able to send email to other students or instructors starting in the evening of 3/13 through 3/16 at 10 am.

OCC resolved the problem that had also impacted some D2L faculty and students. These users may not have been able to authenticate between 10/3/2014 and 10/7/2014 or users may not have been able to open the D2L login page on 10/612014 before 5PM.

IT addressed the problem which resulted with some D2L faculty and students who had reset their College passwords between 10/3/14 and 10/7/14 not being able to authenticate.

5:15 PM

IT addressed the problem which had impacted the D2L system resulting in the login page failing to load or significant system slowness.

2:30 PM

While some users are able to login to D2L, users who have updated their password and have not logged into D2L with the updated password are not able to access D2L.

11:30 AM

System is down and has been acknowledged by D2L.

Students, Faculty and Staff are currently unable to access or login to the D2L system.

At this time, when attempting to load oaklandcc.desire2learn.com, the page is not responsive.

A five (5) minute outage was reported to and acknowledged by D2L on 9/24/14, around 2:45PM

March 13 - 14, 2014

2:20AM - Reported as Resolved: Desire2Learn has indicated the systems issues have been resolved.

9:30PM: D2L advises that clients are again reporting intermittent system issues.

8:00PM - 9:30PM: The IT Support Center continued to receive reports from instructors indicating that their students were still unable to upload documents.

7:35PM - Reported as Resolved: Desire2Learn has indicated the system issues have been resolved.

5:36PM: Instructors and students may be experiencing the following issues in D2L:

• Unable to access the D2L system

• Attempts to upload files result in errors or failure to process

• While browsing, instructors and students receive unexpected errors on various pages

• Slow usage experience overall

D2L has been notified and are working on the problem.

12:40PM- Resolved: Desire2Learn has indicated the system issues have been resolved.

11:45AM: The D2L system continues to demonstrate intermittent system problems.

10:30AM: The OCC D2L system continues to demonstrate intermittent system problems.D2L is aware and is working toward a resolution.

Impact: Instructors and students may find the system unavailable, slow to respond, or non-responsive.

9:00AM: D2L performed extended maintenance after the 7:00AM deadline. This maintenance continued to 9:00AM.

Sunday, March 9th, 2014, between 1:00am and 7:00am EST, scheduled system maintenance will be performed on OCC's D2L system.

Impact: The Desire2Learn system will be unavailable during the maintenance window timeframe. Please refrain from access during this window and plan accordingly.

May 28, 2015, 4:00 am - 6:00 am

Scheduled maintenance is being performed on 5/28/15. At this time, no interruptions to currently existing Piksel video and media services is expected while maintenance is being performed.

April 25, 2015, 2:00 pm - 5:00 pm

Scheduled maintenance is being performed on 4/25/15. The ability to view existing videos will not be affected. Please refrain from creating new videos and projects until after the maintenance has finished. A faculty member's ability to upload new videos is expected to return to normal operation at the end of the service window.

December 8 to December 12, 2014 from 4:00 am to 9:00 am

Work is being performed daily from Monday to Friday at 4:00 am to 9:00 am. Video playback may be affected on Tuesday, December 9, and Thursday, December 11. when viewing currently published video or audio projects.

September 4, 2014, from 7:00 am to 8:00 am

While access to the multimedia system will be available, the system will be in Read Only mode for a portion of the maintenance window. No impact is expected when viewing currently published video or audio projects.

It is suggested to update projects or assets after maintenance has been completed.

Turnitin Available Turnitin

All Turnitin services and related websites (Turnitin, OriginalityCheck, GradeMark, and PeerMark) may be unavailable for use during scheduled maintenance times. Times for these scheduled maintenance windows are the first and third Saturdays of each month, 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM EST.

Turnitin service may be intermittently unavailable during a scheduled maintenance period on Saturday, March 15th, 2014, from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM EST.

Instructors are encouraged to modify assignment due dates either before or at least several hours after the scheduled maintenance window.
