ORDERING TRANSCRIPTS AND ACADEMIC HISTORY
Students, please note that transcripts are no longer available in person at the college District Office.
A transcript or academic history is a listing of all of the credit and non-credit classes that you have taken at Oakland Community
College along with the number of credits and any grades received. Transcripts are either unofficial, also called an academic
history or official. Unofficial transcripts or academic histories are provided to the student. Official transcripts contain
the seal of the registrar of the college and are mailed directly by the college to a person or institution specified by the student. An example of when
you would need an official transcript is when transferring to another college or when applying for employment.
UNOFFICIAL TRANSCRIPTS (academic history)
Unofficial transcripts or academic histories may be obtained from the internet by logging on to the college website at
www.oaklandcc.edu. Once there click on ‘Online Services’,
then log in with your student ID and password, click on your academic history and print it for a hard copy. In addition, an unofficial transcript (academic
history) can be obtained at any campus records office. You will need a driver’s license or personal identification card to pick up your unofficial transcript.
Unofficial transcripts or academic histories are free.
