Annual Schedule of Courses

The below reflects the annual schedules of the day and evening programs. Students who enter one program will follow the sequence of massage therapy courses (MST) until completion. Students have 2 full years to complete all certificate courses including all major (MST) and required supportive courses.

FULL-TIME/ DAY RECOMMENDED SCHEDULE

The full-time program begins Fall Semester each year. Students must have completed the required BIO prior to entering the program OR obtain approval from the program coordinator.

FALL SEMESTER

MST 1000 Introduction to Massage Therapy Monday 9-11 am lecture / 11:30-1:30 lab 3 cr/hr
MST 1250 Mechanics of Massage Therapy and the Human Body Wednesday 11am-2pm lecture 3 cr/hr
MST 2351 Externship 1 By Arrangement 1 cr/hr

WINTER SEMESTER

MST 1350 Intermediate Applications to MT Wednesday 9 am-12 pm lecture/ 12:30-2:30 pm lab 4 cr/hr
MST 2000 Massage Therapy and Special Populations Monday  9 am-12 pm lecture / 12:30-2:30 pm lab  4 cr/hr
MST 2352 Externship 2 By arrangement  1 cr/hr
MST 1450 Bio-Behavioral Management
(This course may also be taken during Summer I Semester)

Important: Students must achieve a ‘C’ grade or better in each MST-coded course, each semester, to continue in the program. A "C" (2.0) or better grade is required in all programs, major requirements, required supportive and general education requirements.

PART-TIME / EVENING RECOMMENDED SCHEDULE

The part-time/evening program begins Winter Semester each year. Students must have completed the required BIO prior to entering the program OR approval from the program coordinator.
