OCC’s Terry McCauley Joins Board of International Association of Campus Law Enforcement Administrators

Oakland Community College’s Director of Public Safety, Terry L. McCauley, has been elected to a three-year term as director-at-large on the board of the International Association of Campus Law Enforcement Administrators (IACLEA), starting in June.  McCauley has been OCC’s public safety director since 2002.

 

Based in West Hartford Connecticut, IACLEA is the leading voice for the campus public safety profession representing more than 1,200 colleges and universities in 20 countries.  In addition, IACLEA has 2,000 individual memberships comprising campus law enforcement staff members, criminal justice program faculty members and municipal chiefs of police.

 

Among the services IACLEA offers its membership is the Loaned Executive Management Assistance Program, which provides confidential assistance in improving the administration and management of police, public safety and security agencies.  The IACLEA’s “Connections” program is an online network and collaborative system that enables members to share information and conduct discussions.
