OCC Sends Volleyball Team off to National Tournament
Community College's student body will give a special send off to its women's
volleyball team as it leaves for the National Junior College Athletic
Association (NJCAA) Division II national tournament at Owens Community College
A rally will
be held from 10-10:30 a.m., Wednesday, Nov. 20 at the Auburn Hills Student
Center, 2900 Featherstone Road. The rally is organized by the Raiders Athletics
Department, Student Government and Student Life.

Oakland Community College is the largest
community college in Michigan and ranks 23rd among the nation’s
1,200 associate degree-granting schools. With five campuses throughout Oakland
County, it offers degrees and certificates in more than 160 fields, including
university transfer degrees in business, science and the liberal arts, as well
as workforce training and certificate programs. Three quarters of a million
students have enrolled at the college since it opened in 1965.
