OCC Sends Volleyball Team off to National Tournament

Oakland Community College's student body will give a special send off to its women's volleyball team as it leaves for the National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA) Division II national tournament at Owens Community College in Ohio.

A rally will be held from 10-10:30 a.m., Wednesday, Nov. 20 at the Auburn Hills Student Center, 2900 Featherstone Road. The rally is organized by the Raiders Athletics Department, Student Government and Student Life.

Students can meet volleyball coaches and players before the team departs for Owens Community College in Perrysburg, Ohio. The Raiders’ first game is at 3 p.m., Thursday, Nov. 21. The tournament is Nov. 21-23.
