Pursuant to the Higher Education Opportunity Act (HEOA) of 2008, Oakland Community College must make available to the public the following information:  


Oakland Community College must make available to current and prospective students the following information about student body diversity, including the percentage of enrolled, full-time students who are mail, female, self-identified member of a major racial or ethnic group, and receive a Federal Pell Grant.

Completion / Graduation And Transfer Rates

Oakland Community College must make available, on an annual basis, the completion/graduation and transfer rates of certificate-or-degree-seeking, first-time, full-time undergraduate students. The data are to be available by July 1 of each year for the most recent cohort that has had 150% of normal time for completion by August 31 of the prior year.

For the most recent cohort, the student who began their studies in Fall 2014:

The completion / graduation rate within 150% time of normal time is 11%.

The transfer rate within 150% of normal time is 40%.



Retention rate

Oakland Community College must make available to current and prospective students the retention rate of certificate-or-degree-seeking, first-time, undergraduate students.

The percentage of first-time, full-time students who began in Fall 2016 and returned in Fall 2017 is 56%.
