Location: F Building at Auburn Hills Campus

The Student Art Exhibition highlights student artwork made at Oakland Community College. It is a juried, multidisciplinary exhibition that showcases drawing, painting, photography, jewelry, sculpture, design, and ceramics. Cash prizes will be awarded through generous funding from the Kegham Tazian Art Prize Fund, the DeRoy Testamentary Foundation, and the Office of Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Justice. Any student currently enrolled at OCC is eligible to submit. Free to apply!


Michael Neville is an artist and designer currently living in Hamtramck, Michigan. He creates objects that encourage play and interaction. His creative practice looks critically at the liminal space between industrial design and fine art. Using traditional and improvised craft techniques, Michael examines codified product typologies that influence intellectual and creative development. Michael hails from southeastern Connecticut and earned his MFA in 3D Design from Cranbrook Academy of Art, Bloomfield Hills, MI.

  • Must be a current Oakland Community College student
  • Artwork must be made in an art class at OCC from Winter 2021, Summer 2021 and/or Fall 2021.
