Steps to Getting Started
The following 10 steps will guide you through the process of becoming a student at OCC.
Exception: College Guest Students
You will be prompted to log in to create a new password. Be sure to set up your SECURITY
QUESTIONS - this will avoid having to call in to reset your password. Once logged
in to MyOCC, sign in to Student Email to ACTIVATE your required OCC EMAIL account.
Check your email for important news & updates.
STEP 4: COMPLETE YOUR FAFSA
Award letter and status of your application may be found under Financial Profile on MyOCC. Check for important deadlines.
STEP 6: MEET WITH A COUNSELOR
Make the most of your counseling appointment. Complete your application, and placement
testing before coming in!
Call for an appointment with a counselor at one of the campus' or set up a ZOOM meeting!
NOTE: STEPS 1 - 5 SHOULD BE COMPLETED BEFORE YOU MEET WITH A COUNSELOR
STEP 7: REGISTER FOR CLASSES VIA MYOCC
- Log into MyOCC, Select Students
- Go to Registration
- Click Register for Sections
STEP 9: GET YOUR RAIDER ONE CARD
Your official OCC Student ID can be picked up at the OCC Bookstore or mailed to you.
STEP 10: BUY YOUR BOOKS
The Raider Bookstore provides competitive comparisons to get your books.
