Effective July 1, 2011, institutions of higher education that participate in the student financial assistance programs authorized under Title IV of the Higher Education Act of 1965, as amended, have new federal requirements. Institutions must disclose and report information about their non-degree (certificate) programs that lead to gainful employment in a recognized occupation. Prospective students must receive the following information about the non-degree programs.
