OCC’s Strong Financial Management Recognized Nationally

OAKLAND COUNTY, Michigan – For the third year in a row, the Certificate of Achievement for Excellence in Financial Reporting has been awarded to Oakland Community College by the Government Finance Officers Association of the United States and Canada (GFOA) for its comprehensive annual financial report (CAFR). “This Report represents the continued organizational health and sustainability of the College,” said Board Chair John McCulloch. “On behalf of the Board and our community, we appreciate the work of the entire College team to ensure we are financially sound so we can continue to effectively focus on student success and the College’s mission.”

OCC Chancellor Peter Provenzano added, “The College’s Board of Trustees, faculty and staff all know that OCC provides exceptional value for students seeking a quality post-secondary education. This year’s CAFR underscores that value as well as our accountability to the community we serve.”
