Faculty members “are always willing to take some time to talk with you,” explains Abraham, a business student who lives in Rochester Hills. “And if they see me in the hall, my old professors will say hello and have a little chat, which is really awesome.”
Abraham says she chose OCC “because of the wide variety of classes they offered.” Once in the classroom, however, she learned that, just as valuable as the subject matter, were the subject-matter experts.
“The professors have all been so good, and they are very adamant in helping you with anything that you need,” Abraham says. “Whether it’s school-related or not, they’ve all been really good.
“If I’m struggling with something in the class or I am unsure about an assignment, I can always feel free to reach out to them and send them an email or call them – and they’ll be good with responding. I haven’t really had any poor interaction with a professor so far.”
