Program Outcomes
Program outcomes represent broad areas of knowledge and skills developed over the duration of the program through a wide range of courses and experiences. These learning outcomes represent what a student should be able to know, think, or do upon successful completion of their program at Oakland Community College.
- Graduates will be able to integrate knowledge from various didactic health care courses and from general education prerequisite courses into skills necessary to function as an entry level health care supervision.
- Students will gain knowledge of current practices in operational procedures in long term care facilities essential to effective job performance.
- Students will describe communication skills to effectively work in the unique environment of a healthcare facility.
