Interior Design (INT.AAS)

Program Outcomes

Program outcomes represent broad areas of knowledge and skills developed over the duration of the program through a wide range of courses and experiences. These learning outcomes represent what a student should be able to know, think, or do upon successful completion of their program at Oakland Community College.

  • Students will demonstrate the use of appropriate color and lighting installations for interior applications.
  • Students will demonstrate the use of appropriate finish materials and fabrics in interior applications.
  • Students will be able to create working drawings through both analog and computer techniques and formats.
  • Students will utilize both organizational and industry appropriate techniques for creating client proposals.  
  • Students will create an industry standard portfolio that meets industry standards for job seekers.
